How to get Apple Maps to show place names

Hi all.

No matter what layer view I use in Apple Maps it will not label towns and villages with names unless I either zoom in really far, and even then some places have no names at all and I have to click on a POI to see what it’s address is to work out the name of the place.

Does anyone know how to get maps to show place names properly?

First screenshot shows no town or village names at a further zoom level, screenshot 2 shows one of the towns zoomed in much closer but still no town name. Third screenshot shows the same town zoomed really far in at which point it finally shows the town name (as well as the POIs). Yeah...that's weird and not normal. Replicated on my phone as well.

I would submit a report.

I just submitted one by typing in "Newton Stewart" to bring up that town and then swiping up until I got to the "report an issue" area and noted that labels for towns and POI's are not showing up at normal zoom levels.
