Nah. Human support folks work off scripts that were deliberately and carefully designed to be relevant to the subject-matter area.

As long as they stick with the script it's ok. The problem is, people get inventive. Make stuff up just to sound knowledgeable, or they actually believe it (delusion). Even happens to presidents.

The stupid machine at least does it's best.

I am seeing as many 1 star as I am seeing 5 star reviews. Maybe it has vastly improved? Considering I rely on my watch more than my phone, can anyone give usefulness & reliability feedback? Thank you in advance.

Edit: NVM. Took the time to read the thread. Thought it would be all jokes, but actually a lot of useful information.

I just can't imagine the need or desire for this. We know chatGPT is biased to only provide what our overlords want us to know. Are people really that lazy that they cannot look up info themselves and can therefore judge its reliability and value?
It’s a bit weird to be pretentious about the technology that will revolutionise many sectors and impact countless jobs. But if your imagination limits yourself to only see it as a lazy alternative to Google, then that’s your loss.

Also, strange that you throw in a conspiracy theory as well, as chatGTP was trained on millions of web pages, undoubtedly also the ones that correspond with your specific views.

"Did you reboot your computer?"
"You need to reinstall macOS"
"You need to sign out of iCloud and sign in again"

Yep, those scripts are deliberately and carefully designed alright.

No snark here, but I'm curious about the "We know..." part of your comment. Beyond suppositions, how exactly do we know this?
Go read some of the non-Microsoft and non-google articles about its response to certain types of questions. The truth is out there!

Agree. Do not install this garbage on your watch especially if you have cellular version. Who knows what trackers there are. In some countries it is even more unsafe for people.

Wanha, how do we know you're not AI? :p:D Seriously, I just saw an article that said AI scored very high on the bar exam.

This stories are factually incorrect hype. Most subjects and courses require much more than paper examinations (in which this robot already memorized the answers before the test without understanding anything).

You imply that anyone who uses ChatGPT automatically accepts its results as truth, and does not think critically about the results. The truth is that ChatGPT's results can be evaluated just like any other information source.

Let's ask ChatGPT what it thinks of skeptics:

Q: What would you say to people that are suspicious about a.i. chatbots?

ChatGPT: I would say that it's perfectly natural to be skeptical or suspicious of AI chatbots, especially if you're unfamiliar with how they work or have had negative experiences with them in the past. However, it's important to keep in mind that AI chatbots have come a long way in recent years and are now capable of handling a wide range of tasks and conversations.
One thing to keep in mind is that AI chatbots are only as good as the data and programming that goes into them. This means that if the chatbot is poorly designed or trained, it may not be very effective at handling complex conversations or providing accurate information.
That said, when used properly, AI chatbots can be incredibly useful tools for businesses and individuals alike. They can help automate repetitive tasks, provide instant customer support, and even offer personalized recommendations based on user data.
So while it's important to approach AI chatbots with a critical eye, it's also worth keeping an open mind and exploring their potential benefits. With the right design and programming, AI chatbots can be a valuable asset to any organization or individual.

Substitute "human" for "AI chatbot" or "chatbot".

It's weird to see Luddites on a tech-ish site
Really is mind blowing how ignorant people are about these “intelligent” search engines.

-It’s a search machine that you can speak to. What’s not to like?

Is it perfect? No, but it’s far(!!!!!) better than Siri and all other “pre-GPT” assistants.

And so much more convenient than pulling out your phone, launching a browser, going to Google, typing the search. Or searching through Search in iOS.

Yes, it lacks device integration and will thus be confined to the app.

But the ability to have a supercharged version of Google search on my Watch with market leading voice recognition and context awareness is incredibly useful.

iOS and Siri will be jump several levels up once Apple implements elements of it into Siri.

I pray we see the first of it come WWDC. They have to do it to stay competitive.

They’ll finally be able Make Siri Great Af! 🤩
