How to get dowloaded files to automatically open with Firefox

Hi,
So I would like to have my files open automatically once there downloaded, be it .pdf, .ppt or .doc.

Is there some setting that i need to change of Firefox (though I have looked) to make this happen

Try the settings in Firefox > Preferences > Applications tab

Just be careful what you set to open automatically. It's as much a security feature as a convenience one.
