How to get gps direction on google map?

    Not sure how to make it work. Is it only if your on 3g?

    There's a "Directions" tab at the bottom. Or do you mean direction as in, the compass on the iPhone 3G S?

    Compass. Got it. You have to tap location twice

    So, can you tell if changing the True North/Magnetic North setting in the Compass app changes it in the Maps app?

    I thought google maps was suppose to show you the direction you're facing? Wasn't it also suppose to change map orientation?

    OK, in the maps, click the little cross hair target thing in the lower left. That gets your location, click it again and it gives locks in your heading.
