Right now, I have two Schlage locks and one August lock connected to my home. They all work locally when my phone is at home, but how do you get the Apple TV to connect to it as advertised to work remotely when you're away from home?

I had a similar issue with our eco bee. I reset it and it started working.

Anyone?

Some things to verify:

apple tv is gen 3 or 4
apple tv and iphone are updated to latest iOS
On iphone go to settings/Homekit/Choose your home/ ensure enable remote access is on
On apple tv make sure you are signed into same apple id

That would be a good start, should work I have had no issues with ecobee.

Edit to add: Also the locks are Bluetooth right? Your apple tv must be within Bluetooth range of the locks. So if you have issues you could try moving the apple tv closer to the lock. Ecobee is wifi so it doesn't care where the apple tv is as long as they are on same network.
