How to get off hourly speech time updates!!!

In exploring my new macbook pro, I've somehow set it to say the time every hour. How do I get it to stop this annoying feature! I forget which menu I turned it on from. 😕

System Preferences --> Date & Time

Uncheck the box next to "Announce the time:"
