how to get photos onto iphone 4

so i got my iphone 4 restored today at the apple store and the lady said to set it up as a new iphone and not restore from a backup because i would experience problems...how do i get my photos and videos that are backed up via itunes?

Sync them back thru iTunes.

He needs to copy the camera roll pics and videos off the iPhone after 1). Then he needs to add these to photos and videos folders and sync them via iTunes after he does 3) and 4).
