Well I wiped it with a baby wipe, seems like it has worked.

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

So if anyone ever stumbles across this thread in the future, with the same problem, then it is fine to use nail varnish remover to get super glue off your phone. Just wipe it off afterwards.

Glad it got the job done. Acetone is your friend :D

FYI the iPhone has an oleophobic coating on both the back and front glass; you probably stripped the coating off the back in the process of removing the superglue.

Paint is on the backside of the glass. Use a small amount of Goo Gone on a Q-Tip. Immediately wipe with slightly damp micro fibre cloth. :apple:

*Sigh.* The OP has a 3Gs, not a 4, therefore it's plastic and not glass.

Just remembered.
DO NOT use the super glue remover on your phone. I tried it on some plastic, it was initially clear but afterwards it is White, as if it had been burnt or something.

sounds like acetone... the plastic you tried it on must have just been a different type to your iphone.

Glad you got it sorted out!
