There is the current YouTube app so you don't need to. Why would you choose an old app over the latest one?

If it's the app badge you prefer I am sure there is a jailbreak tweak somewhere.

I doubt they support it any more and YouTube has grown considerably since the app version in question. It wouldn't have many of the extras and options the current app has and would be pretty rubbish in all honesty.

Google is dropping support for it. Either way you need iOS 5 or earlier to have that app as it was pre-installed. The 5s can only have iOS 7 or later.

Yes, Google has already dropped support for devices that run anything earlier than ios 7, and also the aTV 2 sadly.

That was an Apple created app and they did not include it in iOS 7. Google now makes their own Youtube app.
