Yeap, Unreal 2004 is a helluva game but unfortunately like many Mac games suffers from exponentially high prices.
You can try to install it with a Windows disc, I myself have not done it this way since I have the Mac disc, but it's worth trying since Windows versions sell for pennies.

Thats an outdated PPC demo I believe.

I'd reccomend trying the PC version in Wine, if possible. Mac games are always (and I mean ALWAYS) overpriced. If you can't get it running in Wine, BootCamp is of course your best bet on getting to play the game on the cheap. Assuming you have a Windows installation key on-hand.
