macOS How to get XOrg-devel installed?

Hi, first of all, I have minimal experience in software development and some of my work (to build HTK) requires XOrg-devel to be installed. How can I get this installed on my mac? I have Mavericks.

I'd start HERE, with a follow-up to Fink or MacPorts.

Thank you for the reply. I installed X11 and now my source code is compiling without any errors.

Good to know - it's been quite a while since I've done anything with XQuartz X11, so I could not honestly recall what it included. I think the last thing I did was bringing over a linux port and getting buried in circular pre-requisites!
