Having 100+ icons on a dock? How does that work on a 13 inch screen? And that does not address minimizing docs to the right side of the dock.

The first post isn't even about time saving tips. Regardless, spotlight launching is faster and more ergonomic. Even if it weren't, people can decide what they use. Why force your way down other people's throats?
100 apps? You really have never used OSX have you? I have the same 10 apps pinned to my dock, wether open or not, its always visible. The end.

You say im forcing my opinion, but you underline "IS faster" suggesting that you 100% are sure and its a fact that spotlight or terminal launching apps is faster.

1. Move mouse down.
2. Click!!

There you go, im done, app is launched. Granted its a very time consuming inefficient way of launching apps but you know what, I think I'm good.
Please don' reply, your lack of mac knowledge is embarrassing . Dont make me pity you even more than I currently do.

Not everybody uses 10 apps on their macs. And again, minimizing files moves tap targets on the dock.

And again, multiple monitors, hidden docks, fullscreen apps. All of that make point and click slower and less ergonomic than spotlight search because it requires user to take their eyes of what they are doing and focus on the dock.

Everyone has different use cases. And point and click doesn’t work for a lot a people because of the aforementioned shortcomings.

Am I the only one that can't revert back to the normal mode? I have tried
defaults write com.apple.dock static-only -bool false; killall Dock
and
defaults write com.apple.dock static-only 0; killall Dock
but no luck! I've even tried running as sudo. Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: It looks like I have to rebuild my dock (add everything back one by one)?
