Hey guys,

I bought a new iPhone 6S and I noticed that the speaker crackles/distorts at high volume. I'm looking to exchange it, but I want a brand new retail one. How's the best way to go about doing this? I'm still within the 14 day return period, should I return it and purchase it again or can I just ask them to exchange it for a retail box one?

Reserve new phone, bring defective one in with box and everything, return it, buy new reserved phone.

Adding to the previous response, bring ID, credit card and as long as you are within the 14 days, you should receive a new one. I did that yesterday without any problems and I got a shrink-wrapped new phone. I called the store in advance to make sure they have the right model for my carrier in stock.
