How to go about the SL up-to-date program (didn't buy online)

So i just got my MBP less than a week ago, and i heard about the up to date thing with snow leopard right after (where you can upgrade to SL for $9.95 if you buy a mac after June 8th i believe).

I got this Mac in store, i haven't found much information on how you go about doing the 10 dollar upgrade, can anyone guide me through what i need to do?

Why wait? get it now at a discount and install it when the perceived problems are ironed out.

Isnt the $29 deal like, forever? As long as its an upgrade and not a new buy, like from panther to SL?
