How to hook my MBP up to a Sony Bravia?

    Just got a new tv and would like to hook my 2010 Mbp up to it but am not sure what I need. I've done a search but keep finding all kinds of answers.

    I'm limited to shopping on amazon.com if that helps. Thanks!

    get a minidisplayport cable to hdmi adpater. make sure it carries sound though. some don't

    apple tv.

    you can send your videos, pictures, etc from your computer to the tv. Plus watch videos off of netflix, etc.

    costs more than a hdmi cable +mdp-hdmi adapter though. this solution does the same thing.

    plus it frees you up to use your laptop while still being able to view media on the television.

    you can do that too with the cable
