How to import photos from a card reader?

I have a Compact flash card reader and I'd like to know if there's a way to import photos from this card connect to my card reader via a USB port on the new ipad? Like some kinda an adapter?
 
Don't think so, but if you get the camera kit and your camera does USB...you might be able to leave the card in the camera and import them by connecting the camera to the USB dock adapter.

That adapter doesn't support CF card

Since I already have a reader with CF slot, all I need is an adapter that can convert into a USB port to slug my reader on it...

The camera connection kit comes with a usb adapter for connecting a camera directly to it.
