Hey guys,

The address book comes with a nifty "birthday" field which can be added to contacts. However, it seems to insist on the need to input a year (i.e. date of birth, rather than birthday). As most acquaintances don't like to disclose their age, their year of birth is hardly readily available information. Is there anyway to input the birthday without the need to input the year?

Thanks a lot in advance.

You can always just put a bogus year in for everyone. It won't matter, since you're not calculating ages.

I am doing that at the moment (1900). But I was hoping for a more elegant method, which I may have overlooked. You never know when these workaround would come back to haunt you in the future. I am sure I am not the only one with this issue, and am surprised no one has raised it.

A more elegant solution does not appear to exist as the application requires year and there's no way around that.
