I need to mount an X5 FSP booster in my MacPro 4.1, but the supplied cables that connect the booster to the graphics card are short.
can someone, who has installed this booster, tell me how to do it?
Even by publishing some photos
Thanks

Sorry for the bad English, I write from Italy

It’s been a long time since I had one installed in my Mac Pro. I believe you need a molex to SATA power adapter so that the booster turns on with the Mac Pro. Also, I took the sealing ring of aluminum off my door panel and used tin snips to cut a ~2 inch section out near the optical drive area so that there is enough room for the pcie power cables to go from the booster to GPU. I think it’s all documented somewhere here on the forum.

I no longer have my Mac Pro so I can’t take pictures. Hope this helps!

Ok found one of the original threads. It has more complete instructions and pictures:
