I guess my iPad is staying on 26 😂

You can temporarily disable Apple Intelligence, which should free up about 20GB. iPadOS 27 is way better than 26.

Great question! Before downloading the update, it's worth noting that Apple does not recommend installing iOS 27 beta updates on your main iPhone/iPad, so if you have a secondary device, use that.

This is really one of the best beta series I’ve ever used, although there were a few apps that didn’t work a few months ago (everything I use is now working). CarPlay, Wallet, etc., are all working, with the exception of the passport needing to be updated yesterday.

But betas can always cause issues.
