Installing one SSD into the optical bay was incredibly easy, but it sure does look lonely in there. There is an awful lot of empty space around it. What kind of modification would you need to make to install two or more SSD drives into a 2010 Mac Pro's optical bay?

There are several 1x5.25" to 4x2.5" adapters available. The biggest issue you would have is the SATA cables as the one that is meant for the SuperDrive ain't enough to drive more than one SSD at full speed so you would be looking SATA PCIe card. People with Mac Pros can help you more with that
