I have three WiFi access points that periodically misbehave. They keep rather short segments of logs, which are useless for troubleshooting. However, they can send ongoing logging information to a syslogd (system log daemon). In Mac OS X Server (back with Snow Leopard) this could easily be turned on. That version of the OS is thoroughly out of date now, and I don’t know, what I would have to do to enable one in Monterey or install one, perhaps with Homebrew?

P.S.: Is this the correct forum for this? There should be a dedicated one for anything that can be done with launchd or from the command line.
