Hi,

I am an aluminum imac, model 7,1. I just bought ram from crucial and the installation video on there website looks nothing like my computer. Where can I go to find out how to install my ram.

I also know that there is danger with static electricity. How do I prevent that?

I can't remember which model is the 7,1 iMac. If this one isn't it, there is a list of iMac tutorials on that same page for different models.

As for static, just touch the iMac casing before installing the RAM and you should be fine.
