Um for some reason Configurator crashes whenever I plug in the Apple TV. That's odd.

It was crashing for me at first as well. I just restarted my MacBook pro and it stopped crashing. I don't know if it was because it was the first time I had downloaded Configurator, but I found that a simple restart solved the issue for me.

Does multi user support extend to icloud photos?

I can imagine each user having access to their photo library. It would be great if that is true.

Although I believe they would have mentioned it in the keynote.

If I am not mistaken the profile is contained within the TVapp

You need the beta version of the configurator (I missed it at first, on the Downloads page there's another tab for software)

====

I already have iOS 13 b1 installed - installed the new profile (overwriting existing one) remotely using Apple Configurator
Restarted Apple TV after installing profile

ATV does not show any beta updates available
There's no beta updates switch

Any tips on getting iOS 13 b2 installed?
[doublepost=1560805946][/doublepost]p.s. no, it does not extend to iCloud photos

It looks though like for iCloud / Game Center / Home Sharing you can only be logged in to one account, whereas user switching only applies to:

- Videos (Movies & TV shows?)
- Music
- Up Next
- Purchases

Running into the same issue.

Removed the profile
restarted
re-added the profile
restarted
still no update available

Same here...

Any fix for “get beta updates “ switch missing? Forgot to turn it off when installing iOS 13 profile now I can’t update

This has 'fixed' it for me. For some reason, I wasn't able to install the profile the usual way, but doing so through Configurator (beta version) did the trick. Thank you! :)

There’s a Configurator beta version?
I installed the profile via the link on the tvOS Beta Installation using config profile instructions
https://developer.apple.com/support/beta-software/install-beta/

Make sure your Mac is running the latest version of Apple Configurator.

Not sure if Xcode 11 beta 2 had not yet been installed os it’s possible that’s the issue.

I'll just dump this here if anyone needs it. This should also help those who have the "Check for Beta" missing issue. You won't see that option, but it'll at least get you to the next Beta version:

I couldn't see tvOS 13 Beta 2 on my Apple TV 4K, even though I installed the cert properly. Finally got it working last night.

1 - Go into Settings > System > Reset
2 - Select Reset (not reset and update. It probably doesn't matter.)
3 - After the device has been reset, set up the 4K as always. Mind you, you'll still be in tvOS 13 Beta 1.
4 - After setup is done, use Configurator 2.1 beta. I had a bunch of problems with original Configurator 2.
5 - Install tvOS 13 Beta certificate
6 - Restart device (this should be automatic)
7 - Once back online, go to Settings > System > Check Updates

You should be able to see the update for tvOS 13 Beta 2 at this point. It sucks having to reconfigure all those apps again, but at least you'll be on a WAY more stable version of tvOS. Beta 1 was seriously bad!

I solved it this way:
- Reset the ATV
- Set up the ATV again, it will still be in tvOS 12.4
- Install the Beta Profile
- Update to tvOS 13

Yes, I did.
I didn't have a chance to do any of this yet. So I fired up the Apple TV today, before I tried it, for some reason the "check for beta update" was back. I turned it off and tvOS 13 beta 2 was all of a sudden available. So yay, maybe it was just needing to wait it out a few days.

Which version did you have TvOS 13 B1? I´ll try it later, honestly Beta1 is so laggy, want B2

For those the beta 2 doesn't show, I finally managed to get it, i turn the location services OFF, turn the share AppleTV analytics OFF, delete the profile.
Go enable share tv analytics, put the http://bit.ly/tvos_13 and install the profile and restart. Go to settings -> system->updates, put the "get beta updates" OFF and search and voila, it shows.

Hope it help
