How to jailbreak 3GS 4.02?

I wish i could still use Jailbreakme but unfortunately i'm at 4.02.
So whats the best way to jailbreak 4.02?

Also, I'm only jailbreaking so i can tether. Any advice on the best/free way to tether? I know MyWi is the popular way but i've noticed its up to $20 now so i'd like something cheaper.

Just to make sure theres no confusion, you download a program from limera1n and run it on your computer while phone is connected. Not like jbme where you visit the website from the phone itself.

btw, just read that MyWi has been cracked. Anyone know if that crack still works on 3GS?
