How to just Jailbreak iphone only?

I just want to jailbreak my iphone only. Some jaibreaking methods available now such as jailbreakme.com automatically install AppTap and other stuff that I don't want. Is it possible to just jailbreak the phone?

You could just uninstall Installer after you use jailbreakme. Although I don't understand why you want to jailbreak if you don't want to install programs.

Thanks for the reply. Well, I just want to change the Home Screen background picture, replace some icons that I liked and hide the iTunes icon.

Will iBrickr 0.91 do that? Do you know how to do that please show me.

Never used iBrickr, PC jailbreak program, no? If all you wanted to do is changing screen background, replace some icons, Installer is still your best and easiest way to go. With the Summerboard program, you can change the themes with just a few taps and they look so cool.

If you want to change the icons and background, you could change the default icons, but then they are permanently like that...

To do that you need to use Installer to Install Customize and rSBT.
