Are you on OS X? If yes and the address entries are in the OS X Address Book app, just do command-a to select all then go to File menu/Export.../Export vCard and save the file somewhere.

You can export from the options suggested above. If you sync with an appropriate account then you don't need to manually migrate your contacts. Just set up sync on the device and you're good to go.
