How to keep iPhone playlist automatically updated (available offline)?

I have a Recently Added playlist, whenever I add music from Apple Music it automatically appears there in my Mac and my iPhone, as expected.

But, I have no option to make that playlist available offline in my iPhone now. I need to manually go to each song and select Make Available Offline.

It seems the option to Make Available Offline for a whole playlist is only available when none of the songs are already available offline.

Any workaround for this?
