How to keep Photo Stream enabled?

Have iPhoto 9.3 (App Store). Every time I reboot iPhoto loses Photo Stream. I must go back into iPhoto> Preferences> Photo Stream and enable it again. How do I permanently enable Photo Stream or must it be cut on every time you reboot OS X?
