thelatinist, would it be okay if I suggested that the OP try a DFU restore? Or would you have to correct me? I figured that I'll consult you for every post of mine from here on out. Just to check
Your only option is to restore.
Thats it.
Its not in recovery mode. If it was you would be able to kick it out by now. something else is gone bad and it needs a restore.
I recently downgraded to 4.3.3 from 4.3.5 using TinyUmbrella with my SHSH blobs saved, but at the end of the restore it didn't reboot out of DFU mode like it was supposed to, it just hung there. I tried fix recovery (standalone from TU), iReb, and TU's built in fix recovery but neither worked. I have yet to try with Redsn0w or RecBoot.

I JUST attempted to downgrade my mother's iPhone 4 from 4.3.5. She was on 4.1 and it was giving her some trouble so I tried to update it to 4.3.3 then jailbreak since her SHSH blobs were saved, but I ran into all kinds of errors (3194, 1013, 17) that kept repeating itself even with editing the hosts files, unchecking the TU box, etc. I eventually did get 4.3.3 to install on the iPhone, or so I thought. It did went to recovery mode as many instructions suggested would happen, but I never had the recovery mode screen that gives the "Slide for Emergency" unlock screen, but the "connect to iTunes" screen. I tried TU's recovery fix and the FixRecovery tools to no avail, it kept coming back to the "connect to iTunes" screen without the "Slide for Emergency" screen.
I eventually admitted defeat and just put on 4.3.5 and going with the tethered jailbreak with redsn0w. My mother really only uses the jailbreak for SBSettings, Activator so she doesn't always have to use the home button, and occasionally MyWi (dunno how long that'll last with good ol' AT&T's recent efforts). I plan to show her how to boot tethered when it's done for the times she does reboot and how to respring which will solve many problems in terms of slowdowns, etc.
However, if anyone does have a solution to the problem I was having, that would be great!
