How to know what’s installed in your iMac?

  1. With my PCs I’ve used Belerac Advisor to give me a printout of everything installed in/associated with my computers. Is there something similar for iMacs? Maybe there’s a Belerac for iMacs? With the iMac case sealed it would be great to know that info, especially when buying a new computer, to make sure you received what you paid for.
 
A good place to start would be "About This Mac" < System Report < Software < Applications

that should display a good list of what is on your mac as far as applications go
