how to look at system log on yosemite?

Hi!

My computer used long time to turn off with black screen and a spinning disk, just want to take a look in the system log, where could i find it on yosemite? 🙂

The "Console" utility (in the Utilities folder) can be used to view logs.

I found it, but do you know if the mac make a new document or folder when it got issue with something?

I don't know. I never actually use the Console utility, I just know that it's there 😛
