    Hi all,

I am responsible for a web interface that monitors online auction on benefitevents.com.

The page that renders a"personal item list" has an http refresh of 20 sec.

Each time the screen refreshes it resizes down to minimal and must be expanded again. Very inconvenient for anyone keeping this screen open for any period of time, since you can increase your bids from this screen as well.

Is there a way to set iPhone not to resize for http refresh; or is there something I can add to html code to do that job.

Thank you in advance for any help.

    Best,
    Jim Wintner

The iPhone Safari screen can't be resized... at least I don't think. Are you talking about it zooming in?

I guess I should have used the term "zoom". Page automatically zooms out after refresh. I need to keep previous zoom state.

    Thanks,

I doubt you can with an HTTP Refresh. You'd probably have to use something like MR does with MacRumorsLive or the Forum Spy.

    iPhone screen size

I found out that you can control the "viewpoint" size, and that resolves the problem.

    example:
    <meta name = "viewport" content = "width = 320, initial-scale = 2.3, user-scalable = no">.
