Quick question, thanks in advance! :)
When I put finder in icon view in the "show options" I am able to change the background color of the window, is there someway to do this to column or list view? Also can I increase the size of the icons in column view?
Thanks!

Yes. Right click on an empty space that isn't an icon and select show view options. From there, on the bottom, choose color and select a color.

Actually that does not work when in List or column view like the OP was asking about, only in Icon view as they noted.

To the OP- In View Options for List view windows you can select from two icon sizes, but that is it unfortunately, and this only works in list view not column view. The default is the smaller of the two, so maybe that will help!
