Hi, I use MacOS Maverick and Windows 10 computers to work on data which is syncing between them by Dropbox. My problem is that shortcuts that I create on MacBook in Chrome for some reason can't be opened under Windows 10. Is there an application or plug-in that will make them work. I know I could use bookmarks option but I find it much more convenient to use desktop shortcuts.

You can setup a free Google account. Then login Chrome on each computer. Bookmarks and settings will stay in sync.

Alternatively you can use xmarks to keep Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Opera and IE in sync.

Store the bookmarks in your bookmarks bar. Which may need to be turned on. I setup folders and sub folders in my bookmarks bar.

If you use XMarks. My preferred choice, don't let anything else sync bookmarks. Things get screwy if you have multiple programs syncing.
