How to make my Mac faster?

Specs: 2.1Ghz, 4G Ram, 120G HD (stock), 144 MB graphics, white, 13".

I've clearly done the Ram but I'm wondering if theres anything to make the fans come on a little less when dual monitoring or watching videos. My first thought would be HD obivously, but should I go SSD or just 7200 rpm drive?

A faster HD will make a difference in performance but will do nothing to quiet your fans. Macs just suck running Flash content.

Speaking of which, make sure you're running the latest version of Flash.

I actually don't want them higher, I want them lower. The unibody MBs can go to like 75 without fans being activated 3000rpm+. Seems like the white ones can't go above ~69
