I have a new Macbook Pro that I bought in June with Lion. Not sure I want to upgrade to Mountain Lion. I have been looking everywhere on how to create a install disk of Lion (DVD or USB), but every article I find refers to Lion purchased from the App Store. What do I do if Lion came with my computer?

technically you have to use the recovery partition or you can make a usb recovery partition like the link above shows.

to make a bootable version of OSX you would of had to purchase it

im sure there are other ways to obtain it but having it in your purchased tab in the app store would be the easiest

It can be done. Use this process to grab the installer from Apple's servers. This free app to make your USB key.
