Hello,

In Lion if i have multiple tabs open in safari and I accidentally press cmd + Q it will quit Safari without warning me, now i know all tabs will reopen but if the page was in middle of loading (buying something online etc..) i might run into trouble.

That's really weird - what version of Safari are you running? I'm running 5.1 (6534.50) and I show this:

i don't consider it a problem and have never missed this feature, but i must admit that like the OP i don't have that option under preferences either.

my safari is: Version 5.1 (7534.48.3)

Whoa - why would that take that option away in Lion. Sorry guys, didn't think they'd have a different Safari build for Lion. that's messed up.

So I guess there's no way to warn on closing multiple tabs in Safari under Lion?

in leu of warning after closing tabs, do this:

If you inadvertently close a browser window and it's tabs, you can easily recover it by choosing Reopen Last Closed Window from the History menu.

Not recovered! Plus hassle of re-starting it after yelling "damn!"; scrolling lost; video playback positions lost, etc
