How to mass delete apps from iTunes? Nothing works.

I removed all my apps from my 'mobile applications' folder in my computer but they still show up in iTunes under 'applications'. How can I mass delete them? I know how to delete them one by one but I have so many.
Anyone know?

Command-A (Ctrl-A in Windows) then tap delete.
