How to merge 2 AIM Accounts?

I had an older aim account and a more recent one but i want to use the more recent one with the contacts of both accounts merged instead of using 2 sn's at once. How can I do this? Im using Adium by the way. Thanks.

Can't you just add additional AIM accounts to Adium beyond your first one?

Yes...that, or why don't you just add the contents of the old buddy list to the new...Would take some manual work, but no has has that many contacts..

I've never used AIM, but in MSN Messenger there is an option to "Export Contacts" and then "Import Contacts" - if there is a similar feature in AIM, you could export your contacts in your first account and import them into your new one.

AIM 5 for Windows will let you save your list from the old SN, then load it into your new SN.
