Hi community

I am running latest OS on my iPhone7P and MacBook, and have totally different music libraries on both somehow. Is there a way to safely merge both libraries or at least transfer music from Mac to iPhone without losing what's on the iPhone now?
Thanks!

Get iMazing, it won't sync libraries as iTunes will, and you'll have fully manual music management.
thanks, checked it out, looks neat. Still frustrating that you need to buy rather pricy tools to be able to manually sync music in Apple world (really?)

Agree that iMazing is great for transfer of music files from Mac to iPad/iPhone and vice versa. What if, like me, you no longer have a Mac? Is there a way to transfer music files between iPad and iPhone without iTunes - i.e. is there an iOS equivalent of what iMazing enables?

No. iOS is far more restrictive than macOS and windows. And Apple is Clearly unwilling to provide any feature to user to manage iTunes library on iOS through iOS app.

music on apples iGadgets is locked down better than a penitentiary. For some it's a walled "garden", for others it's prison
