How to move aperture + itunes libraries.

Hi, i have just finished college and want to move, back up or copy my aperture and itunes libraries to an external HDD and wipe my systems disk and then start with a fresh install of OSX.

My question is, How can I/ Is it possible for me to move my libraries to an external HDD and then move it back to my imac again after a fresh install? thanks

Just copy ~/Pictures/Aperture Library.aplibrary and ~/Music/iTunes to the external drive and back again after the format. No mess.
