how to open files using keyboard

Hi,

I used to open folders using keyboard simply by pressing 'enter'
but in mac, it just renames the file

what is the keyboard key to open files

or use column view (command-3 or the third view in the toolbar) and just arrow.

Don't forget you can preview the file by hitting the space bar

 + Down arrow also opens files/apps/folders on my MBP.
