how to open files using keyboard

Hi,

I used to open folders using keyboard simply by pressing 'enter'
but in mac, it just renames the file

what is the keyboard key to open files

Don't forget you can preview the file by hitting the space bar 🙂

 + Down arrow also opens files/apps/folders on my MBP.

I have an old doc somewhere that has all the OSX shortcuts. You might be able to google for it. If I remember tonight, I will attach it.
