How to Open .RAR files...?

i have some really big .RAR files....

What is the best way to open them ?

and it is asking for a password when using UnRarX ...?

If it asks for a password, then it means the files are password protected. You'll need to get it from the creator before you can open them.

Stuffit Expander is free and lightweight. It's what I use. Personally, I don't know why Apple doesn't make that Archive Utility, formerly BOMArchiveHelper, thing do every format.
