So here's the thing. I don't want my entire computer password protected, all I want is my mail app, when opened, for a password to be required otherwise the app will not open. Is it possible?
If not, is there any other Mail App for Mac that would allow me to do that?

Thanks

The days of System 6 are long past. It is silly to password-protect a single application. You don't want to password protect your entire computer. Why? I have no idea. At the next level, you have individual user accounts. Each user account has a password. Until you type your account's password, every application and all of your data are protected.

You could place the Mail app in an encrypted disk image that requires a password to open the image and launch the app.
