How to perform thorough check?

So recently got new 5k imac and it's had nothing but issues - dead pixel line, random OS crashing doing Final cut and PS work, and just 2 days ago the fan is hitting something on the inside so it's making some noise.😵
(it sounded like someone was cutting grass inside the imac 🙄)

The new imac is coming tomorrow so wondering what kinds of check I can do to thoroughly make sure nothing is wrong? 😳
From issues on the previous one, I will check right away for imperfections with the screen but wondering about the other stuff. The crashes did not happen until 1week+ in and the fan issues happened a day before I shipped it back 😱😱😱
