Hi! So I am planning on preordering the iPhone X this Friday and my original plan was to use my line on our family plan to upgrade. I just needed to pay 50% of the remaining balance (Verizon) and I would be able to upgrade to the iPhone X (after trading in my current device too). Long story short that plan is no longer going to work and I am now hoping to use another family members upgrade for myself. I need to pay off $180 of the contract in order for it to be eligible for upgrade. Is there anything I need to do either now or during Friday in order to properly transfer the upgrade to myself? Can I just purchase the phone on Friday under that line and then pop in my current SIM card for my line? Any help is greatly appreciated!
