How to: Prepare an iPad for sale?

Hi All,

When the new iPad v2.0 is released I may be tempted to sell my existing iPad to help pay for the upgrade.

Is there an easy way to completely wipe my iPad of all user data and downloaded apps etc...and have it forget my iTunes account...so I can repackage it in the box and advertise it for sale?

Ideally I would like it to be in the state it was when I took it out of the box for the first time.

Your iPad has JUST such a funtion built into it.

plug it into iTunes, click restore and set up as new. Unplug it and your all set.

oh, and clean the outside of it too... so sick of people trying to sell dirty stuff.
