Had Apple Music a while ago, and always found their recommendations for music discovery and For You playlists to be pretty terrible, because they used a lot of the music in my existing iTunes Library as basis for their recommendations (not to mention that they would just add songs on my library to their playlists, which made up 90% of the content on said playlists). I switched to Spotify and didn't have that problem anymore, since I never actually 'saved' anything to my Spotify library: I just used their playlists to listen to whatever I wanted.

Most of the files in my iTunes library are there for collection purposes, like full discographies of certain artists (including live stuff) and instrumentals/soundtracks/classical music that I don't bother listening to on streaming, just when I'm in a certain mood. Is there any way to then prevent Apple Music from using the tracks on my library as the basis for their algorithmic recommendations (short of deleting everything from my iTunes Library)?
