I decided to have my iPad use all of my saved passwords when browsing the internet. Makes access to gmail etc a breeze. How can I prevent others from logging into my websites if someone was borrowing my ipad?

Simple, don't allow your iPad to save passwords.

There should be an app to turn saved passwords on and off... That would be better.

What? You allow somebody else other than yourself to touch your iPad. Not me, nobody can touch my precious other than myself. :D

Download Opera, enable parental controls to disable Safari. If your guest wants to browse the internet, have them use Opera.

There are alternative web browsers that can be secured with a master password. Atomic Browser and iCab are two of them.

You can use the 1password app for specific websites but it uses its own browser rather than safari.

The simple answer is to not share your iPad if you have sensitive stuff saved to it.
